He's also wrong. You can assert privilege (where it's valid, unlike here) for the substance of a conversation. You can't assert it for whether the conversation happens. Example, while the subject of your conversation with your doctor is (in some cases) privileged, the fact you visited him isn't.
And his job function most certainly is not.
But, of course, the Dems are too wimpy to actually challenge him. He should be locked up with the inherent contempt power and kept there till he talks.
Seriously, if any of my clients said "I don't recall" or "I can't answer" as much as the Administration does, we'd lose every case we have.

It gives me oh so much confidence in my government that all of these fucking traitors have decided to put the President before the nation.
I really wish Pelosi would grow some damned guts and start impeachment proceedings. I want my damned government back.
