She's probably wrong. Again.

If 3 million Canadians had to flee the country, and half a million of us were killed, would she be as indulgent of any occupying force in this country?

No.

Unless she was one of the Quisling collaborators. Which, given who we're talking about ...

Do we know whether the commenters at SDA are all staying at the same compound?

Good bye, cc.

I have finally had it with this apparent woody you seem to have for Ms McMillan. Because in recent weeks there seems to be a hell of a lot more of her stuff here than yours. Is it that cute little shorts shot of her beside her bike's rear wheel; did she cock up an airbrush job you had requested on a gas tank or is it something else a tad darker? I suppose it saves you the need of being original to just fire up the ol' "Oh you're just not gonna believe what 'Canada's lowest common dominatrix' has written this hour!" rantemplate, but Jesus, Mary and Joseph it's gotten tiresome!

Good luck with whatever you're heading off to. But remember stalking is still illegal in this country.

(And to all you "Don't let the door hit you on the butt on the way out!" fearless keyboarders, let me save you the trouble. It didn't, and I'm out. In future, when I want to hear "One Trick Pony", I'll just put my Paul Simon album on.)

Oh, fuck off. Gawd, the puling from rightwingers (who are wrong about everything, all the time) is becoming migraine-inducing. First they were brave armchair warriors, and now that everything has gone tits-up, they're resorting to endlesss moaning.

No wonder these wimps never enlist...

In public policy, you measure success by looking at whether your policy has succeeded.

The point behind the surge was to keep the war going, ostensibly for another Friedman Unit, but actually until the next Decider is in a position to decide. Then the Goppers can claim that THE DEMOCRATS LOST IRAQ! In other words, the point behind the surge was to kick the ball down the road and blame the loss on the Democrat Party.

The surge doesn't have anything to do with Iraq; it has everything to do with domestic politics in the US; and IT IS WORKING!

So Kate, well, she may not understand why she's right, but she is right.

Honestly, you guys are as dumb as the Americans — arguing about "turning the corner" in Iraq. Didn't you learn anything in Vietnam? The surge isn't about "turning corners;" it's about the gravy train and the hope, however slim, that we can get a third war out of this in Iran.

Okay, okay, I'll say it...

Michael, don't let the door hit you on the butt on the way out!

No, we took a pass on that one too. Maybe we'll invade Nyoming or Minnesconsin or whatever those square provinces are called and finally experience a decent coming-of-age.

Good idea -- their national guard troops are probably busy somewhere else. (Like Surgey Successville!)

Good bye, cc.

Who the hell was that!?

This blog just doesn't seem the same now that Michael's not reading it...
