As the freepers' heads slowly begin to implode ...

Well, well ... how about this?

President George W. Bush was the one who authorized the leak of sensitive intelligence information about Iraq, according to court papers filed by prosecutors in the CIA leak case. The papers quoted Vice-President Dick Cheney's former top aid, Lewis Libby.

That annoying sound you hear off in the distance is thousands of freepers, their hands clasped tightly over their ears, singing, "LA LA LA LA ... I can't hear you!"

wow. Cat's out of the bag now. Let's see if everybody shrugs it off as a technicality, partisan attack, etc.

Wow.

That's like an actual criminal offence.

So can we have an impeachment now? Russ Feingold must be doing a happy dance...

Now, CC, with Pam Spaulding on holidays, I think you should hold your nose, get on over to the Free Republic and starting copying "actual Freeper quotes".

The entertainment value would be immense!

No, because it didn't involve a blowjob. Jeez, do I have to explain everything to you people?

Quote from Bush, September 2003:

"And if there is a leak out of my administration," Mr. Bush said, "I want to know who it is. And if the person has violated law, the person will be taken care of."

Nah, you see, the President AUTHORIZED the release of classified info using an new process he dreamed up on the spot, so it's legal.

He's the Pres. He can do anything but cheat on his wife. Unless she's Republican, in which case it's allowed.

Yeah, he can do pretty much anything.

I don't think there's ever been any doubt that "the person will be taken care of", no matter how many baseball teams or oil companies or wars it takes.

CC,

Yes, correct. Apparently the Presdident of the US has all the power to release classified information, go to war on a lie arbitraroily violate the civil rights of US citizens.

He just can't get a hummer, because that would be immoral.

My bad. I don't know what I was thinking...

Typical far-left idiots and your tired, false memes. "It was about a blowjob!" No, it was about lying under oath in a court of law.

I swear, it's like you keep repeating it in the hopes that it'll somehow make it come true or that you will actually start believing it yourselves.

So I guess all that lying by the Bush administration to Congress doesn't count? Of course not. What was I thinking? Silly me.
