About that Iraqi democracy thing ...

Hey, kids, you all remember how exciting it was when democracy was a-flowering in Iraq, and purple-stained fingers were everywhere and those people were having honest-to-God elections so that the government would reflect the will of the people and all that?

Well, apparently, actual democracy is overrated.
