GUANTANAMO BAY NAVAL STATION, Cuba -- The Pentagon plans to release nearly a third of those held at the jail for terror suspects here because they pose no threat to U.S. security, an official of the war crimes tribunal said Monday.
Dear Americans: If those prisoners didn't want to kill you before, I'll bet they do now. Just sayin'.

I'm sure those prisoners' trials made a reasonable case for keeping them locked up this long. I mean, that's what the judicial system is for, right? I'm sure we all can agree on that.
They may want to become Americans like these boys that were at Guantanamo Bay.

The Horrific things that were done.
"He spent a typical day watching movies, going to class and playing football. He was fascinated to learn about the solar system, and now enjoys reciting the names of the planets, starting with Earth."
More Horrific things, women under dressed, trying to get confessions!!!

Congratulations, Wayne. In just a few days, you've gone from being a new visitor to totally wearing out your welcome here.
God help us all but you've actually turned into Jinx McHue, mindlessly spewing idiotic, right-wing talking points that you've read elsewhere without even vaguely understanding them.
FYI, I already addressed that little issue only two weeks ago here, which you would have noticed if you'd taken the time to actually read anything posted here before you showed up. But I'm guessing that would have been too much work.
What's truly depressing, though, is that, according to your profile, you're 46 years old. 46. Not to sound cruel, but I would have guessed you were about 17, given the sophomoric content of your comments. That someone could be that ill-informed and be 46 is just sad.
P.S. I'm amused that, on your new blog, you waste no time gathering your material from both the Wall Street Journal and WingNutDaily. Good job. Just start linking to Kate McMillan and Free Republic and you're all set.
Now, now CC, breath, remember to breath ;-)
Everyone looks at things differently, while I enjoy SDA & LGF posts, it drives you crazy. Sometimes this site drives me crazy, sometimes I agree with you. We are all different.
What I was trying to show is that everyone has not had a horrible experience at Guantanamo. Having said that, I don't think they are having a great time.
Guantanamo is still one thousand times better than being held by Al Qaeda.
Wayne writes:
Guantanamo is still one thousand times better than being held by Al Qaeda.
Really? That's quite the claim. 1,000 times better? Not 900? Or 1,100? But precisely 1,000? By all means, feel free to back up that fanciful claim with some facts. Take your time, show your work and cite your sources.
Or are you (heaven forbid) just pulling meaningless numbers out of your butt?
I'm not sure what kind of intellectual defectives you're used to debating there, Wayner, but here, we don't have a lot of patience with bullshit claims.
Let's see your evidence.
Pfft. Gitmo is also much, much better than being held at Abu Ghraib.
Wayne, when it's you or your brother or father or partner being held without charge in an offshore prison, then you are qualified to remark on the relative qualities of the imprisonment.
You can't get around the fact that this imprisonment flouts laws both USA and international. "But they're being treated fine" doesn't even enter the equation.
