Jimminy Prentice dodges, weaves, fibs and smirks. Angus just kicks his lying arse. Evidently Mr Prentice is unaware of Canada's existing policies toward private copying. He claims that for the first time in Canadian history, private copying is allowed. Which sort of misses that whole business of Canadian's paying hundreds of millions of dollars to the entertainment industries through a levy on blank discs and tapes expressly in compensation for private copying. We pay for that privilege and have done for some years. The Minister is a liar, as well as being a messenger boy for his corporate masters south of the 49th. He can squeal made-in-Canada until his nasty little head caves in but the truth will out.
