If the irony were any thicker, it would injure small children.

Um ... riiiiiight:

I'm not sure whether or not to attribute this to certain nutbars having no sense of humour, or the myth that conservatives aren't allowed to be funny.

You take your pick.

That would be Axis of Douchebaggery's Patsy Ross, lecturing the rest of us on humour.

Sometimes, this is the easiest job in the world.

"Aren't allowed to be funny." What a persecution complex. Conservatives just aren't funny. The best they do is what Taylor did; a big long dreary post belabouring a point he's made far too many times already and then presenting us with "CBC KyotoShop," just as a child would show his parents his latest spray-painted macaroni creation.

Yes, Stephen, sweetie. That's very clever.

Post from The Galloping Beaver

"If you are, you live in a statistical group which is leading the world... in the field of body mass. Too much body mass."

"In fairness, the U.S. was not included in the report."

Wait.....

Because Al Gore and Michael Moore would have skewed the results too much. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Get it Gore and Moore are fat.

I'm calling it - 3:11pm, Sunday, January 6, 2008. Wayne has officially lost what little grip he had on reality.

"Axis of Douchebaggery's" This is insulting but I get the humour.

Wingnut humor involves attacking people who are not with them and then whining about persecution and how unfair everyone else is when people get offended and give them a black eye for their troubles.

Examples: Coulter, Limbaugh, Miller

I did not intend my comments about Saint Watkins as a joke. I don't have any problems with her personally ( beyond her ridiculous demands ) nor do i have issue with the soldiers that served their country even unto death. It isn't the fault of the soldiers that their commanders sent them off to die for bullshit reasons. Nor is it the fault of the soldiers that their government sees them as numbers on a chart, easily expendable for any whim of a failed cowboy diplomacy.

But If she truly believes that her son died in vain and that the only way to justify his death is for other sons to die in vain too then she STILL take take her grief and cram it up her ass. You do not honor the dead by demanding that more people be sacrificed to the unholy war deities Bush & Cheney.

If she was a real person rather than cardboard cutout of a human she'd realize that two wrongs don't make a right and be championing a cause to make sure that nobody else's children had to die for Oil , George W. Bush's ego, or to keep Cheney's Halliburton stock jumping up 200% in value every year.

The fact that the wingnuts decided to hold her up a some sort of shining example of humanity is laughable. But then these are the type of people who snicker joyously whenever Ann Coulter talks about rounding up and murdering western citizens because they don't hold her political beliefs so what should we expect from them?

Second the motion on Wayne.

But this "Patsy" Ross stuff? Glass houses and stones come to mind. Don't make it easy for them.

It’s exceedingly rare for “conservatives” to be funny — at least not intentionally — although it may be one of those cases where the exception proves the rule because the “conservative” credentials of ones that are is always open to question. Often the handful cited as examples turn out to be libertarians as much as anything. I guess we could speculate until the cows come home as to the specific reasons for this, but the fact remains. Indeed, if you look at the vaunted “free market of ideas” that’s always touted by “conservatives” as being the infallible metric by which success should be judged, then “conservatives” are clearly a miserable flop in this arena as evidenced by their almost complete absence in any popular form of entertainment. Of course, some may contend that Rush Limbaugh and Ann Coulter are wickedly funny comedians (which in a sense they are), but their dismal performance on that Fox knock-off of TDS buried that myth, I think. No, try as they might (and therein lies part of the problem), as a rule “conservatives” are dreadfully unfunny. But the notion of “not being allowed” to be funny… now THAT’S funny!

Haha, Wayne. I just copied it and then you deleted it. The irony.

Basically, anything with with or subtlety is far over the conservative mind.
Insinuate that someone is fat, or ugly, and you people bust a gut.

Do you think girls have fleas still?

Nothing worse than being laughed at, except not knowing why. Then you no comebacks, and you call them 'ugly' or bitch about swearwords and spelling.

Whoosh!
