From one of my all-time heroes, Wesley Elsberry, we have this gem. I may never need to watch The Daily Show again.
BONUS TRACK: I am reminded of the classic courtroom exchange:
Prosecution cross-examination: "When he went, had you gone and had she, if she wanted to and were able, for the time being excluding all the restraints on her not to go, gone also, would he have brought you, meaning you and she, with him to the station?"
Defense: "Objection, your honour. That question should be taken out and shot."

Wowie! Reminds me of the commentaries on my local Corus radio station. One in particular comes to mind - a tortuous piece promoting the need to make science teachers include 'intelligent design' in the curriculum as 'only fair'. In the light of what's happening in Quebec (the Minister of Education is asking science teachers in certain regions to de-emphasize evolution so as not to offend complaining parents), your post is very relevant. The religious right is on the march (and literacy rates in Canada are dropping).
If you can't dazzle them with brilliance...
