Dear Big Daddy:

I was planning on visiting my grandmother on my way home from work this afternoon only to find out that her nursing home has been closed to all outside visitors. Now guess why, you cost-cutting, double-dealing, promise-breaking, corpulent, mouthbreathing, in-and-out hypocrite. Ooopsie — it seems there’s an outbreak of what may be listeriosis affecting the residents.

It’s no secret that I hold you in complete and utter contempt but let me give you some very good advice. You might want to ask your cabinet superstars Flaherty, Baird and Clement just how much fun the Walkerton Tragedy was for the Harris government ... because as your mythical sky-God is my witness, this girl hopes you wear this like an anvil around your smug neck.

Disdainfully yours,
LuLu

The best thing Big Daddy has going for him this weekend is a thing called Gustav. If Gustav meets New Orleans on Monday, it might knock al this stuff off the front pages.

Then again, if Lulu is right, this might be Big
Daddy's Katrina.

What does listeriosis and the Harper government have to do with each other? Nothing. What a stretch.

The lesson to be learned. All food should be irradiated, so it is healthy and wholesome.

Wrong on all counts, Wayne. Remember, it's Harper's bunch who want to turn over monitoring to the food industry itself! You can just imagine how well that will turn out...

And let's chat for a moment about Mr. Clement's lovely little remarks in Denver, shall we?

So people dying of bacterial infection is a joking matter now? Lovely. Tells you something about just how the Harperettes see the people of Canada.

I don't agree with them. After this, I hope they change their mind. This has been a fatal reality check.

If the Harper gov't had the food industry policing them selves before this incident there would be a conection. Since this is not so, there is no connection.

Everyone has to be good at something psa, I guess causing people to role their eyes is mine niche.

While I am "humping Big Daddy" I will be thinking of you.

Ummm.. Wayne.. I mean, Pencildick... you are aware that Maple Leaf Foods was actually operating under the 'new proposed rules' (i.e. less CFIA oversight) when this happened.

More reading here and here.

Yeah, Phat Stevie's going to have some of this splattered on him no matter how it falls.

Was Wayne here? Damn, I missed him.

Tell you what, Wayne. Explain why this happened on Harper's watch. No referring back. These guys have had power for long enough that everything is their fault.

You are not allowed to use the word liberal, even with a capital L.

Have a nice day.

Yes, Wayne was here -- you can generally tell by the lingering stench of dumbass, and the appalling ignorance of actual facts that people have to explain to him with very short words.

How someone that fucking stupid can actually function in society is purely a mystery.

Thanks for the info Frank.

If these articles are acurate, I was wrong.

All food should be irradiated or pasturized as it is now called. We should use the tech we have to improve food safety.

Frank Frink said...

Yes. They are accurate, asswipe.

And they were all easily available enough for you to have read before you decided to spew your spittle-inflected ignorance.

Any wonder we all mock you?

All food should be irradiated or pasturized as it is now called. We should use the tech we have to improve food safety.

Well, too fucking bad Big Daddy and his crew didn't put that in their new regulations, now isn't it?

We now return you, Wayne, to your regularly scheduled Big Daddy humping. Fuckwit.

Wow, what an expert you are, Wayne.

The problem was with food that had been pasteurized, or cooked as it is now called.

The probable cause of the bacterial infection in the food was that it came in contact with something contaminated with the bacteria, after it was pasteurized, or cooked as it is now called.

The reason that contamination existed in the plant is unknown (and probably will not be found).

A possible cause that the bacterial contamination in the plant was not found is the new inspection regulations provided by the Harper government.

A probable cause of your grasping at straws is that you're not very bright.

Yes it is. They must be panicking, if they would send "frank" over to try and start yet another flame war.

Hey frank, how much are they paying you these days?

*yawn*

You'll pardon me if I think your opinion means less than a bucket of warm piss, "Frank" ... if that's really your name. After all, your Blogger profile seems to be set to double secret probation.
