A mind is a terrible thing to waste ...

... unless you're one "Mr Kennedy (Kennedy)," at which point, well, we're not talking about a major loss.

Over at POGGE, we have Mr. Kennedy channeling Michelle Malkin (if she were moderately retarded), and writing:

Harper made a surprise morale-boosting visit to the troops in Afghanistan bringing back memories of Bush's surprise visit to the troops in Iraq. This visit had the added bonus of driving the Canadian left insane with rage because they loathe the troops with every fibre of their being.

Um ... hyperbolize much? In any event, "pogge" gives Mr. Kennedy the chance to walk the walk:

There are two and a half years worth of posts on this site. Find a quote from one of the authors of this blog that demonstrates real "loathing" for the men and women who serve in our armed forces. I don't mean differences with government policy or even concern about Rick Hillier's public comments because those, believe it or not, are legitimate comment. You said "loathing" so demonstrate "loathing." Prove that you're more than a flying monkey pulling shit out of your ass and throwing it in all directions.

To which Kennedy (with what I'm sure he thinks is just wickedly clever, cutting repartee that would leave them gasping in awe down at the Wankerville Performing Arts and Cattle Auction Centre) responds:

So I am expected to search 2.5 years of posts on this site to prove that the left does not loathe the military?

Why, no, Mr. Kennedy. One would have thought that, before making that claim, you'd have a real live example ready to go without having to look for it. That's sort of how it works when sane people engage in intellectual discourse.

It's genuinely depressing to realize that, after an extended conversation with someone as clueless as Mr. Kennedy, it's actually a refreshing improvement to go have a chat with your rubber plant.

BY THE WAY
, it's not like Mr. Kennedy (Kennedy) needs any further spanking but I'm sure some of you have already noticed the logical absurdity in his claim. Kennedy writes, "This visit had the added bonus of driving the Canadian left insane with rage because they loathe the troops with every fibre of their being."

Now, by making that statement about "the Canadian left," Kennedy is implying that his claim is true of every single member of that demographic. Every one. Without exception.

For Kennedy to be able to substantiate that claim, he would first have to identify every member of Canada's "left" and, further, he would have to prove beyond any reasonable doubt that all of those people "loathed" the military ... etc etc ... you get the point.

I, on the other hand, can disprove Kenendy's claim by finding a single counter-example to it. That counter-example would be me who, I can assure you, does not loathe the military with every fibre of my being, as many of my constituent fibres are single-mindedly dedicated to other pursuits, such as enjoying British comedy and single-malt scotch. Ergo, given that I have supplied that one critical counter-example to Kennedy's claim, we can safely conclude that he is, logically, full of shit.

My God, I love logic.
