Theo has taken quite a few shots to the head. I haven't seen the "Street Fightin' Man" video but apparently Patric Ross has taken a number of shots himself.
"...went full Marxist..."? Aside from how incredibly stupid that statement is, it would probably be a better option than the hard right turn the PCs took in the past several months, which is saying something given what they usually stand for...at least openly.
Between making not searching the landfill(s) for missing women as the main plank in their election platform (to the point of posting billboards and making radio ads about it), as well as embracing the imported "parental rights" bullshit from down south, it was like Heather Stefanson looked at Brian Pallister's reign and went, "how can I make people long for the days of him as Premier of Manitoba?" That's not even including the whole Covid response both as Health Minister and Premier, her response (or lack thereof) to the Convoy yahoos downtown and at the border in Emerson, that whole conflict of interest deal where she somehow "forgot" to disclose over $31 million in property sales... I could go on and on, but apparently there's a character limit to these posts, but I think you get the idea.
The only thing that saved the PCs from getting blown the fuck out like their federal counterparts in 1993 was the fact that most rural southern Manitobans (particularly the bible belt) would elect a half-eaten bag of Old Dutch potato chips, so long as it had a PC or CPC logo on it.

Because in his ahistorical, racist fantasy-world, everyone has been doing great under right-wing neo-liberalism.
Theo does come across as a whiney baby, so he's got that going for him.
Ironically, Theo is Métis; a group that has historically endured racism in Canada.
(Also, Theo might be the only person in Canada unequivocally dumber than Patrick Ross.)

To be fair, at least Theo has the excuse that he probably took too many hits to the head during his hockey career.

The term Marxist, like the term Woke is a way to say "I'm a fucking ignorant shithead, and my opinion is not even wrong."
