The "highlight" of Trump's Middle East foreign policy "achievements", after the collapse of Jared's dismally failed "peace talks", was the much vaunted "Abrahamic Accords", which opened trade and arms sale windows between countries that weren't really threatening Israel all. The "Accords" simply ignored the real issue, the challenge of Palestinians. The last week makes the idiocy of Trump's "triumph" even clearer.

The man is not in the least bit smart - manipulative, greedy, and socially clever perhaps, but smart? No. One only has to look at what’s coming out in his NY fraud trial, or in the run-up to any one of the criminal trials to see how utterly devoid of intelligence he really is.
