Shorter Stephen Harper: "Having consistently treated Canadian women like crap, I'm terribly concerned when other countries treat their women like crap."
How bizarre - if Stevie isn't a fundamentalist Catholic, why is he emulating Benedict XVI?
Harpercrite mouths platitudes & points fingers while here in Canada living conditions for mothers and children grow steadily worse - doesn't that recall Ratzinger's pontificating about women's rights while condemning them to death from AIDS?
Coming from one who uses sexist slurs of varying vulgarity to refer to fellow female bloggers (namely, me), it's a little rich to hear you carping about gender equality.
Come on "sharon", can't you do better than the "yer a sexist" card? Complete with the sigh? You are drawing an equivalence between being mocked and rape? Sheesh.
You are not being mocked because you are a female (if you are). You are being mocked because you are obtuse.
So, your position is that since an insignificant, anonymous blogger can be occasionally rude, that justifies the right for the Prime Minister of Canada to be a misogynistic, two-faced hypocrite?
Is that really the position you're taking? I just want to be clear so we can all mock you appropriately.
Alright. I feel like chum in a shark tank, but here goes.
No doubt I am obtuse about a lot of things, but even I know that we can do no more than agree to disagree about conservative policy. I am also not so obtuse as to believe that by pointing out an inconsistency in the person making the argument, that I am at all addressing its validity. Put like this, it was probably a rather boring comment with strictly personal relevance, so thanks for indulging me, and carry on.

I think your preface, "Shorter Stephen Harper" stubs quite well on it's own in terms of his gender stance.

Worse deBeauxOs - he's an Evangelical member of a Christian Missionary Alliance church. Total, evolution denying fundies.
Sigh... Should I even bother?

Let's see, swearing versus legislating the the idea of equal pay for equal work out of existence.
Yah, you're right Sharon swearing is much much much worse.
God I long for the grown ups to kick you lot out of the conservative fold and back into the wilderness where you all belong.
