We will never forget whats-his-name.

Shorter Ass Monkey: "My freedom isn't free; sometimes, it requires other people to die for it."

Here's the money quote from Ass Monkey's bogus, contrived sympathy, though:

He will be remembered.

Yes, I'm sure he will -- whoever he is:

The soldier's family has asked for his name to be temporarily withheld.

Yeah, Neo's definitely going to be all over that "remembering" thing, although having a name to go with the body might have made the remembering a bit more meaningful, wouldn't you say?

Excuse me, but isn’t this the same demented fuckstick who casually blows off war casualties as minuscule and inconsequential relative to deaths resulting from traffic accidents and other such domestic incidents? (All the while honouring the sacred memory of the beautified St. Wanda, of course...)

Look... lighten up on him. All this "remembering" is more than a small imposition. He also has to remember to take his bottles back for a refund.

RT:

I believe you're referring to Neo's sanctimonious dismissal of Taser-related deaths. But, yes, the principle is the same.

Stephen Taylor must be so proud.

Sapper Étienne Gonthier, 21, of the 5ième régiment du Génie de Combat.

You're welcome.
