Spare the rod and ... well, OK, don't spare that rod:
A former pastor who taught Bible classes at a private religious school in Mississauga has been convicted of sexual assaulting a 13-year-old female student.
Sure, it's distasteful, but at least we've worked them back to hitting on the right sex. Now we just have to work on the age thing.

Mississauga Christian Academy...hmm. I wonder what all its connections are.
"Justice James Blacklock said the Brampton man had "deluded" himself into thinking none of his actions, including sexually explicit online chats, were sexually motivated."
f-f-s. How can the scumbag delude himself into thinking asking the child to rate how horny was when he touched her, stating that he was “was bursting” and that it would have been “dangerous” had they been alone...the fucker had a hard-on. How can he pretend he didn’t know it was sexual?

I don't want to come-off as a Dutch Uncle, ... but that was a bit of heterocentrism there, however unintended it might have been.
Gay sex isn't "wrong." Abusing relationships of trust with minors is. Gay or straight.
No matter how improbable it may seem to persons unaccustomed to dealing with sex offenders, the theory that the offender did what he or she did only to satisfy the child, and not to satisfy his or her own sexual desires, is commonplace among child predators.

I think it was pure sarcasm. When I read the story, that was the first snarky thing I thought of.
"When God said 'suffer the children and come unto thee' he didn't mean that literally!"

From the school's welcome message:
"Mississauga Christian Academy is Ontario's largest private Christian elementary school and daycare. We offer families quality education and day care by qualified, loving faculty and staff for children 3 months through 13 years of age."
Loving?
I think that needs a bit of an edit right about now.
