The best part of the 'liberal fascist' meme that the hard right has going is that a large percentage of the hard right are actual, honest to god Nazis. Not just ignorant morons who believe the same crap as the Nazis did. People who either supported the Nazis economically, or were actual members until the Nazis were defeated and members of their secret police brought to the US to found the CIA. The Bush family, for an easy example, are well known for their funding and support of Hitler.
Do some research. The neo-conservative ideology was invented by actual, died in the wool, Nazis. Not a slur, or an exaggeration, just a fact which bears up under investigation.
So, what do you do when you're a Nazi? Why, you accuse your opponents of being Nazis, compare them to Nazis, attach the word to the in every possible case. At the same time, you deride any mention of Nazis with regard to you as childish name-calling and a sign of immaturity.
Well, I say if you want to find Nazis, look to the folks who funded and supported their regime when they were in power. Watch for the folks whose approach to politics is founded directly on the methods used by Hitler to gain power...
