Paging Stephen Taylor: How about those lying fuckers in Ottawa?
Seriously, Stephen ... you think this will get any play over at your Blogging Tory circle jerk and Stephen Harper admiration society?
I didn't think so, either.

As a manager, I believe Stephen found it would be easier to control lobbyists than to control ministers. As a sometime manager, this does not surprise me in the least. (In theory, at least, you can do something to a lobbyist who fails to file proper reports. This would get full marks on CBC. What do you do with a minister who doesn't file his reports, or keep track of his time? Shame her in the House?)
You can't simply post a single link to the globeandmail.com and treat it like what is said is all of fact. Now if you have other links on this issue and done some REAL research into stuff then thats another story.
Now I'm not sure how much truth there could be behind this as of yet but I'll certainly look into on my own. You on the other hand should pass this on to the NDP since they're far more likely to make something of this than the so called "Liberals".
However, they shouldn't nose dive into like the Libs do on every little thing they drum up. I'm sure there is another explanation behind this as there have been behind multiple things similar to this in relation to this government. They aren't perfect but they sure aren't the great evil people like to make them out to be. Do you not watch much CPAC? if at all?... Perhaps you shouldn't rely so much on the Globe and Mail website as you sole source of providing information like this. By all means make this an issue. There may be truth behind it or there maybe not. I haven't the time to night to look myself. maybe you all can beat me to it.
It's not likely to change my vote since I'm not for voting on single issues. The Conservatives have proven they are clearly the moderates of the bunch.
So if your still really paranoid, vote NDP or for the silly Green Party.
A vote for the Liberals would be very counterproductive and would contradict any idea of good clean functional government.
Especially as fragmented as they are.
Whelp. any-who. I'll leave you to it.
