You know, I figure it's almost time for another sanctimonious, well-coiffed Bible-head to take a hard fall and ... hello ... what's this?
Founder of Calgary Christian TV network resigns after affair
Oh, frabjous day ... let's read on:
CALGARY - The founder of Canada's first national Christian television network has resigned after admitting to having an "extra-marital relationship with another woman" according to a press release issued by the Miracle Channel yesterday...
"We do not condone his behaviour," said Ray Block, who has been named chief executive to replace [Dick] Dewert...
"We can only hope he will work towards restoration," said Mr. Block. "That's our hope for every person, no matter what walk of life they come from."
Of course, if you take the Bible literally, there might be some cause for concern:
Deuteronomy 22:22 "If a man is found sleeping with another man's wife, both the man who slept with her and the woman must die."
Leviticus 20:10 "If a man commits adultery with another man's wife--with the wife of his neighbor--both the adulterer and the adulteress must be put to death."
Somebody better be hoping that that other woman wasn't married, since that looks like the only loophole in town.

Ha, ha, ha!
And Falwell still dead and one of his delusional groupies caught with explosives.
Yes, I know...the sin of Schadenfreude. I'll repent...
frabjous day...is that one of stockwell's kids? yet another fine example from the do as i say, not as i do bible show.
Yaaaaaaaaay! I love it when my own immorality is vindicated by the the hypocrisy of others.
Huh? Sorry, anon...your adultery isn't mitigated by the condition of anyone else's state of grace.
But..if you want to confess it here, I could give you some tips for repenting.
*shh* everyone; this could be good for a laugh.
There's no "loophole". The other woman was married and the relationship has gone on for quite some time.
Deuteronomy 22:22 "If a man is found sleeping with another man's wife...",
Leviticus 20:10 "If a man commits adultery with another man's wife..."
So that's why little boys are so popular.

Ah, I didn't see that in the original article. In any event, it does make the story a bit more interesting, doesn't it?
I await the stoning at the town gates with bated breath.
LMAO!
What is it with these religious nuts? I'm very tempted to settle on the opinion that getting caught with their pants down is required behavior!
They're charlatans...plain and simple.
Born-again charlatans.
Can't wait to hear the story of his "restoration in christ". Another one falls...next.
It's possible that anonymous is saying that he feels better about his (her) own adultery, now that the religious naysayers have been caught in the honeypot again.
Maybe.

Well of course, along with everything else. Doesn't that explain the festive mood around here?
No...Speaking for myself, I just like it when raging fucking hypocrites get their comeuppance. It restores balance to the Universe.
I'd get divorced before I'd commit adultery.
When they do it, it's because the devil specially targeted them for temptation, which as we all now know can be fixed by a couple of weeks in rehab.
When we do it, it's our own fault.
Funny thing that.
