The joy of bogus authorities.
Over at the Huffington Post, Philip Weiss gets unseemly put out by the fact that Kenneth Pollack, alleged Middle East expert and author of "The Persian Puzzle," a book about Iran, barely speaks Arabic, doesn't speak Persian, and has never actually been to Iran.
Personally, I don't see the problem here. In what way is this any different from Bible-pounding, Christian "scholars" who have never met God and who have never personally been to heaven? It seems to work just fine for them.

Well, since Philip Weiss apparently doesn't know that you speak Farsi, not Persian, why should we listen to anything else he has to say?
And the Steele article? Had to stop reading it, it was so awful.
