After tomorrow, we will know whether we have elected a government we can count on, a government we can believe in, a government who will keep its promises.
While I agree that the Conservatives have broken a million promises, you are always asking for supporters to lay down a bar so at least *they* will know when they are lying. I kinda suspect the Conservatives don't really want to cut the GST any more than the liberals did. Consumption taxes favour the wealthy after all. But at least now you have a metric to hold this Hipster fellow to.
Scrapping an actual child care program which all provinces have agreed to in exchange for a taxable cash givaway "program" is one promise I didn't need them to keep.

Actually, given their track record so far, knowing this government is capable of keeping any of its promises would be a positive forward step.
