Blogging Tories Short Takes: May 16, 2006.
Shorter Political Staples: "If you have no actual data, wild and unfounded speculation is the next best thing."
Shorter Strong Conservative: "It's clear we need to do something about this. And by 'we,' I mean you, not me."
Shorter Dust My Broom: "I have some other great fag jokes, really. See, these two lesbos walk into a bar ..."
Shorter Damian Penny: "You'd be amazed how much mileage you can get out of a data point of one."

Based on that frothing, anti-Chavez freak-out, 'Strong Conservative' is a walking neo-con cliché.
Shorter Strong World: "I DEMAND that the government spy on Canadians!"
He's actually disappointed that our government doesn't spy on its own citizens on a massive scale and appears to be quite literally asking for Big Brother!
"This news item from today's Province is meant to be reassuring...
Canada's electronic spy agency says citizens need not worry their phone calls are secretly being tracked by the government -- a reality Americans woke up to on Thursday.
To which I ask, why not?
Is not the threat of terrorism just as great here in Canada as it is in the US? In recent weeks we've had indications that Islamic extremists are operating in Canada and that Canada is a potential target.
I don't find it reassuring to learn that our government is not doing everything in its power to protect us from a terrorist attack."
Your thoughts on this would greatly be appreciated CC.
What language does that Broom loser write? Because it sure isn't English:
I can’t pretend to understand how homesexuals think, but essentially I think they are saying that in a homosexual union there is a female and male entity in the relationship that exists only in the mind.
What is that supposed to mean?
Sounds like Strong World is suffering from a bizarre form of paranoia which forbids him from trusting individuals but allows him to fully trust the government.
He's just a special kind of crazy.
