Imagine -- I mean, just imagine ...

Blogging Tory "Phantom Observer" wants your opinion on which members of the Opposition will be total disasters in terms of national security. Your vote need not be based on anything as mundane as history or empirical evidence -- letting your imagination run wild and hypothesizing whatever makes you feel good will work just fine.

This scientific poll regarding politicians that don't have a fucking clue about what "security" means is brought to you by a diehard fan of the political party that gave us him and her but would still like to pompously lecture others on the importance of keeping their mouths shut and their classified documents close at hand.

P.S. You seriously need to read the comments at that first link. The shrieky outrage is quite something to behold.

It's a wonder the Con aren't more radioactive to the voting public.

And one could turn into a Mr Angry at the thought that some pols are so prone to littering with protected docs as well.

and given all of that the pinhead chorus can't raise a notion that there's something amiss when sensitive and hotly contested docuiments might be years in the finding? Nato secrets, atomic secrets, environmental secrets, intel on the whereabouts of vips in a war zone... we're supposed to believe that we can trust this government with documents that largely amount to the cover-up of potential crimes that they committed and take that pile of doo as a national security issue. Fuckin' jokers.

That post really ticked me off, so I left this comment, which of course will never see the light of day:

"God, the arrogance of all you cranks and nobodies to sit and pass judgment over other people’s ability to uphold legally binding commitments in the name of national security.

You people make me sick to my stomach. I suggest you all get over your disappointment over the Speaker’s ruling that *preserves* responsible government for all Canadians pretty quickly, lest your bitterness and bile make you into even worse sociopaths than you already are."

Here's mine 'cause yes, the jackass showed up--
Patrick rears his disingenuous head and throws out another load of bunk--
EZ's 'evidence' is MP's political views on various people/groups...
EZ didn't post any concrete evidence as to why lib/other MP's shouldn't be trusted--no news reports, no laws broken, etc...
CC provides documented evidence of conservative MP's that left highly classified docs at girlfriends houses and the like...
It must be nice to wilfully misconstrue things just to score cheap partisan political points...
