And the accolades keep pouring in.

Oooooooh ... apparently, I'm now officially in the running for the 2006 CBA Award for "Best Blog," which means that, when voting finally opens up on November 15, I expect you slackers to finally give something back. Don't make me put up a "PayPal Donate" button or anything.

P.S. I'm thinking that I should also be a candidate for "Best Group Blog," but I suspect the voices in my head don't technically count. Bummer.

Smalldeadanimals did not receive a nomination. I would have thought that Canada's CARR would have been nominated in the Best Entertainment category (or humour).

There's plenty of nomination time left and, from what I can see, there's nothing that stops you from nominating your own blog.

So give it time -- I'm sure SDA will show up there eventually.

Can't explain precisely what makes this blog different but I do enjoy this blog and check it every day. Be sure to cast my vote for you.

Ti-Guy: "She rarely writes anything original, she can't write anyway, she mostly links to other Pajamaliners, her commenters are idiots and her blog's design is tacky and unorganised."

You have to admit that apart from that, it's top-notch.

"Aside from that, Mrs. Lincoln, how did you enjoy the play?"

Agreed. I think there are people out there who are sort of conformity fascists. They get on edge if they find out you cut your own hair, or let your kids stay up late, or maybe run up the "down escalator" when nobody's around. That's how a lot of her commenters come across, too, at least to me. Of course I may be wrong...

Congrats on the nomination, CC.

I noticed that you've already been nominated for a "Best Blog Post." Does that mean you can't be nominated for another one? How does that work?
