Sometimes, even wingnuts have a good idea.

Blogging Tory "Hunter" is tired of all this pussy-footing around:

What I have noticed is that the CPC thinks it needs to tiptoe around and not offend anyone by showing their actual support of Conservative ideas. You are the Conservative Party of Canada, shout it out!

Now there's a political strategy -- enough of this masquerading as sane, rational human beings. Let's have the Stephen Harper Party of Canada open the barn door and let the underlying batshit crazy run completely loose in public.

That idea is all kinds of awesome.

Next year at this time, assuming that the CPC follows Hunter's advice, will be the following blog.

"Why does everybody hate us? Are we crazy? Stupid? I don't understand."

wv='comet'. Which pretty much sums up the Tories rise to power. Once every 73 years and then they disappear again.

If they haven't started waking up to that realisation by now, they never will.

More cowbell! Or batshit crazy, as the case may be.

One of the few things that gives me hope in this country is that the Cons are intelligent enough to realize they need to hide their ideas from the public. It seems that some of them are still labouring under the misguided impression that Conservative policies are acceptable to most Canadians.

The irony here is, they *are* showing their support of Conservative ideas. As the party control, *they* get to define what the ideas are, not her. The fact that their ideas are not her ideas but she insists she's one of 'them' is the disconnect.

Although, honestly, I'm not sure she could articulate her ideas of what makes a Conservative if pressed, since her published views swing like a bipolar bear.

Hunter's the kind of loudmouth redneck people are forced to be quiet around because...well, if you get them started, they never stop.

Swine flew!

US Sen Arlen Spector, RINO-Pa, comes in from the cold, thereby depriving Pennsylvanians of the benefit of their vote and unconstitutionally turning the US Senate over to the Democrat Socialist Party of Barack Obama, which means socialized medicine is coming to America and there will be no more need to move to Canada. Also probably means gay marriage throughout the US and all those other things libruls crave. And Hunter thinks things are bad in Canada!

See, if The Bob & Mike Show had had their act together, they wouldn't have talked about an unconstitutional coalition, they would have just done it. If you show your hand before you do something like that, you know it's a loser.

Seer's become so oblique everything must look like it's on a slant to him now.

"Next year at this time, assuming that the CPC follows Hunter's advice, will be the following blog.""Look at how biased everyone (INCLUDING THE MAINSTREAM MEDIA) has become" is my best guess.

The simultaneous drift embrace of extremism while wailing about reality's failure to accommodate it has been the Conservative two-step since Nixon.

RT's right with one addendum: "More cowbell!! What, are you biased against cowbell? You must be one of those elitist anti-cowbellers"

Could you translate it into Canadian for me then? I'm really exhausted.

well, i get the impression that seer isn't all too convinced that a 60% majority in the senate is going to have the impact he might like it to have, and that wingnuts are going to be disappointed that their boogeyman doesn't turn out to be as scary as they had hoped. repubs had the presidency, both houses and a stacked scotus, yet the murder of innocent babies continues....
