No, let me reconsider that. Your observation was intemperate. Most of your observations directed at socon rightwingnutters and fundamentalist religious zealots are intemperate and on target. In this instance, I don't understand your need to blast balbulican .
I don't always share balbulican's POV, in fact I've had serious differences of opinion with him.
But I don't believe he's an idiot. Nor was his blogpost idiotic.
Actually, I suspect that CC was being his usual sarcastic, cynical self here ... then again, what do I know? ;-)
I tend to think CC is one of the best at employing playful vicious snark. I'm guessing that's what's going on here. It doesn't seem to me that he's really insulting bablulican.
And, yes, sometimes it's just devasting vicious snark.
I think CC was just trying to unite the blogosphere with a headline that both the right and left could agree on.
