Why not? Intellectual heavyweights like Glenn Beck are "informing" their (tellingly) large flocks that opposition to racism, sexism, and other bigotry is driving ordinary people to go on shooting sprees.
I get a kick out of fundies equating faith with morality, as though acting out of fear and eternal-self-interest on the whims of a being that has demanded blood sacrifices, killing of children, torture, rape, genocide, misogyny and other atrocities is somehow not only "moral" but something we as a society should aspire to return to.
