Shorter BT Exactly Right

What a sad consequence of the low unemployment rate. Employers are now forced to scrape the bottom of the barrel and hire America-bashing, global warming obsessed, liberal fascists. I would’ve pointed that out to our moonbat waitress but she might’ve spit in my food.

But either way, there's nothing in that post that in any way links the waitress to "the left", "liberals", or anything else aside from making stupid comments to customers (avoiding possibly offensive comments to customers is important to waitstaff). sassy said...: Having spend some time in the service industry I can tell you that on more than one occasion (usually when the customer was particularly irritating and/or stupid) that I have said things just to have some fun (humour disperses the anger when what you really want to do it tell them to shut up)

Example - I was having orthodontic work done (braces) and a customer aggressively commented that this was silly as only children got braces. I carefully explained that my partner and I wanted to start a family, and that as my teeth were uneven, I have having them straightened before we conceived so that our baby would have straight teeth.

The Seer said...: Off the top of my head, I'd say the waitress is Irish. It sounds like an Irish sense of humor. I myself at times have posted comments, thinking they were outrageously funny, and gotten criticized for being a wingnut lunatic.

On the other hand, storms originating in Texas that head for southern Ontario are rare. If you watch American teevee stations on cable, you will hear half the winter about "Alberta clippers," which are storms that originate in the oilfields and head south, bringing ice and destruction along with them. Some of the Alberta clippers have to end up in southwestern Ontario. All Americans I know blame these chilling storms on irate Canadians.; 11:52 AM
