Big deal. Al Qaeda represents a very small proportion of the "insurgents" in Iraq.
And we're just supposed to take their word for it.
Uhhuh.
Let's say there are 1000 Al Qaeda insurgents left right now, down from 4000 at their peak. Isn't that an increase of 1000 Al Qaeda insurgents since March, 2003?
Must be Iran's fault.
I thought they didn't do body counts.
It also begs the question how they identify charred, dismembered victims of American bombing raids as 'Al Qaeda' versus 'insurgents' versus civilians.
What a nightmare. But, hey, give it a few more Friedman units and everything will be hunky dory.
Wait, first off there WAS no Al Queda in Iraq before the invasion, so saying that they got rid of 75% of Al Queda is like saying "Well we fixed MOST of the mistake we made at the start, therefore, WE'RE WINNING!!!!"
