You sure you want to go down that road, Ezra?

Ezra takes a break from talking about himself to talk about other people talking about him:

Canada's HRCs denounced in U.S. Senate
By Ezra Levant on July 18, 2009 10:10 PM

Here's a clip from a debate on the floor of the U.S. Senate. After a preamble about the economy, Senator Jim DeMint from South Carolina uses Canada as an example of what the U.S. should avoid.

DeMint ... DeMint ... oh, right ... that Jim DeMint:

DeMint’s discourse: Government is fascist, says he will ‘break’ Obama and cause the Senate ‘pain.’

Sen. Jim DeMint (R-SC) is ratcheting up his anti-Obama rhetoric. On a call with right-wing activists yesterday afternoon, he proudly proclaimed that he aims to “break” the President by defeating health reform. He also said recently that he prefers to cause “pain” to his fellow legislators rather than working on reform.

Good choice in Jim DeMint as a role model, Ezra. I guess Michelle Bachmann wasn't available?

Of course they shouldn't. They should practice in private until they get it right.

Hmmm...birds of a feather - but that's insulting to our avian friends

I tried watching that clip to find out how DeMint tied the US's economic woes to Canada's human rights commissions, but I didn't last more than 30 seconds listening to that gin-soaked cracker.

Ezra's still pissed that the HRC had the temerity to follow its mandate to protect the rights of minorities against a conservative powerhouse such as his defunct newspaper.

Any help to a minority is the same as bringing the privileged white male down according to their twisted view of reality.
