What he said.

Go. Read. In particular, appreciate this quoted excerpt from Blogging Tory and well-coiffed fashion plate Adam Daifallah:

If conservatism is ever to take hold here, the U.S. model must be replicated.

However, you should never accuse Canadian cons of trying to emulate their American counterparts. Apparently, that's unfair. Or so I've been told.

P.S. Adam is so adorably optimistic as he basks in the apparent success of 2004 American conservatism, isn't he? One wonders if he's reconsidering any of that in light of the mangled, smoking wreckage that is the GOP of 2008.

Yo, Adam! Got a minute? Let's chat.

..ok.. no argument, Adam is an idiot.

If I had my way, the membership card for a Conservative would read..

If you are:

a) seeking legislation banning abortion;
b) seeking to prevent gay marriage;
c) seeking to bring "God" back to government in any fashion..

Go fuck yourself.. or move to Alabama.. you are not welcome here.

Meanwhile, it's starting to look like Canadians as a whole are so stupid that we may just have to get stuck with our own 8 years of neo-Con rule, so that we, you know, stop being stupid.

We wouldn't dream, apparently, of learning a THING from what we saw down south the last 8 years.

..as indicated, Phyl, we're not all mouthbreathing neocons..
