Time to rethink that Annette Lewis lung transplant fundraiser?

Despite most of Canada's prominent grift factories promoting it, the GiveSendGo fundraiser for Annette Lewis seems to be going nowhere in a hurry. As you can see, while Lewis has indeed raised over $100,000 (USD), it's common knowledge that she needs that much just for the initial testing, with another at least $500,000 (again, USD) for the operation itself. And, as you can see here, those numbers are just not coming in:

This would seem to put professional grifters like Rebel News, True North Centre and JCCF in an awkward position, as everyone seems to agree that, without a double lung transplant, Lewis has a very short life expectancy, indeed.  And pulling in a grand total of $370 over the course of a full week is not trending in the right direction.

So ... what to do? It remains to be seen how all of the people grifting off of the Annette Lewis bandwagon are going to handle this.

Easy. They could simply pivot and fundraise for a hero's funeral. Failing that they could raise money to commission a giant statue next to Terry Fox, as a victim of Communism or Trudeauism, Patron Saint of the trucker convoy, I mean the list is endless.
