Shorter Crock-of-the-Matter Sandy:

Stephen Harper is the MOST ADMIRED LEADER in the entire world only nobody’s talking about it because the MSM is biased against conservatives. The fact that Harper’s lowest ratings came in Canada is just further proof of their disgustingly slanted coverage. I smell conspiracy.

Stay tuned while I fisk the shit out of this bias in a completely non-partisan manner. Did I mention the press is biased? I did? Good.

Shorter Crock-of-the-Matter: "Curiously, the people who like Stephen the least are the ones who know him best. How odd. I'm sure that can't mean anything."

Isn't that astonishing that she wrote that?

Sandy's approaching the c-word status, although precocious senility could also be plausible.

Source: Angus Reid Strategies / Maclean’s
Methodology: Online interviews with 400 adults in each of these countries: Britain, China, India, Israel, Italy, Russia, Turkey, and the United States; and 1,005 adults in Canada, conducted from Oct. 22 to Nov. 1, 2007. Margin of error is 3 per cent for Canada, and 4 per cent for all other countries.

Got yer fresh polls right here!

Curiously, UK recognizes shite leaders in Canada because they just had Blair!

Oh, MacLean's. Betcha Barbara Amiel was in charge of evaluating the poll results.

According to a national survey of 1,000 adults, two-thirds of Canadians believe in angels (66 per cent) and nearly half believe in spirits and ghosts (48 per cent). Another 10 per cent of people are convinced their own house has a supernatural presence.

Now how would Canadian's know if Harper the MOST ADMIRED LEADER, when a good portion are nuts.

I posted the paragraph from the Angus Reid poll at Sandy's shortly before I put it here.
My only comment was:"A slightly newer (post Bali) poll might be interesting."
MaryT (ew) weighs in to assure me that Harper would be even more popular and then goes on to question my carbon emissions, or something.
I suspect that the difference between an open mind and an empty head would be lost on Mary and Sandy. I don't know how you guys can stand it day after day. My hat's off to you.

Wayne...does that town council you're on have any rules of conduct for how you are expected to comport yourself in public?

"that town council you're on"

"town drunk" is just an honorary title....

No, there are no rules of conduct.

It leads to some very interesting politics.

This blog is nothing compared to the local coffee shop.
