Tomatoes ... high-powered rifles ... yeah, that's a tossup, I guess.

Over at "Celestial Stupidity," Blogging Tory Paul E. Marek of Saskatoon is heartbroken over the savage and brutal violence of the Left:

By way of comparison, those on the Right would prefer to express their displeasure and disapproval in more measured and thoughtful ways. As you can see, they refuse to use tomatoes, because that would be wrong.

If he attacked Palin, he must be a lefty. If he is a lefty, this must be terrorism. He probably used tomatoes because he is afraid of guns (like all lefties) and is a vegetarian. Let's see, lefty, veggie, umm, oh yeah; Hitler was a vegetarian and terrorized people and suppressed free speech.

People who hate Palin are Nazis.

I'm sure you can make the jump in fewer steps, but I'm trying to think like Paul trying to think.

Cats hate tomatoes. Some cats look like Hitler. Q.E.D.

It's akin to throwing shoes at your favourite pres-nit-decider-in-chief!!
Oh Noes!!! Shoes!!!! Think of the carnage!!! Lost soles everywhere!!!

No, it's akin to Michelle Obama throwing tomatoes at her better. Mrs. Obama promotes gardening, organic gardening. This guy threw a tomato, a food tacitly endorsed by Pres. Obama and Hitler (see CC's post above). Therefore, Jonah Goldberg was right.

Thinking like Paul is liberating. Just toss logic out the window like, well, like a fascistic commie tomato. A food not on the wolverine's diet.

The outrage is because these old far right farts think Sawah is quite the "tomato" herself. The thought that a traitor (a.k.a dissenter) would dare touch a tomato is just too horrifying to even think about. Even worse, it was probably not a Monsanto frankentomato.

"They hate us for our tomatoes".

I wonder if Sawah spells tomatoe the way Danny Quayle spelled potatoe?

This is what happens when you nip the Long Tomato Registry in the bud.
