Let the deportations begin.

We can start with Michaelle Jean. Unless, by March, she's a fucking Senator.

You have absolutely no idea how much I despise that useless excuse for a human being right now.

NO BIG SURPRISE HERE
: Captain Canada Stephen Taylor puts down his sherry long enough to take a steaming dump on democracy.

WHAT A BUTTHEAD: How stupid do you have to be to have written this?

The case for prorogation is constitutional.

No, Stephen, you twit, it's not. You can't have the case for anything being "constitutional." Being constitutional simply allows you to argue that something is doable. That it's legal. That it's acceptable under Canadian law. Nothing more.

Making a "case" for something involves presenting a compelling reason for why something should happen, which is an entirely different thing, and it's hard to believe that anyone could be so unspeakably retarded as to not understand the difference.

I see they have talking points ready...

Taylor muses:
The case for prorogation is constitutional. The case against it is political. For the first time in twenty years, Conservatives will have a plurality in the Senate of Canada.

What a fucking asswipe....

Read the comments. His argument dissolves like toilet paper in a stream, and he finally acknowledges that this is a power grab, nothing more, and that there is NO compelling reason to prorogue.

Beneath contempt.

Wow, Andrew Coyne seems pissed:
Perhaps we are now to be kept informed via speeches from balconies.

Case for prorogation: constitutional.

Case for coalition: ZOMGWTF!!1!

Doublethink is alive and well and coloured blue.

Paul Wells, doing something something useful for change calls Stephen Taylor the government’s court blogger.

We can thank modern technology for its ability to hide communication between Taylor and the PMO and keeping it beyond the reach of FOI requests. And for the Fleshlights that make more intimate and potentially scandalous rewards for services rendered largely unnecessary.

Just kidding. I'm sure Stephen has sucked a lot of cock to get where he is. And I mean A LOT.

point of clarification ti, many is not the same as a lot. in a room full of jason kenneys there are a lot of cocks but just not that much cock, the whole being less than the sum of its parts.

Never mind. ;)

What the hell is it with Taylor, anyway? I put up a simple comment at his place, pointing out that we elect MPs, not cabinets and Prime Ministers (as he mistakenly claimed), and he deep-sixed it! What an intellectual coward.

Maybe Arnie Shaidle's taking care of the moderation over there as well?

He's done the same to my comments...

Captain democracy only if you agree with him and don't question his dictatorship... Look, he's not use to people thinking for themselves... makes for bad BTs...

My comment finally showed up:

I take back my grumpy comment about Taylor.

Let's just keep in mind that martial law is also "constitutional" but there isn't any reason for it to be declared either.
