HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

Oh, Lord, it doesn't get much more hysterical than this. Over at The Politic, scientific illiterate Matthew gets his pants pulled down around his ankles and paddled in public. And in response, he gets uppity about it.

Holy fuck, but that's a whole new level of stupid, isn't it?

Is Aaron Unruh Peter Rempel?

I have no idea but he's got serious issues with me ... what fun.

Closet case. No doubt about it.

The weird thing, Matthew never actually discussed any of this stuff. He just puts up a screed, gets a bunch of responses, some of which seem like honest attempts to engage in discussion - and then he runs away. Again and again and again.

It's weird. Like one of those bobbing ether birds, or something.

It's very Christian, isn't it?

Well, at least all of this has taught him something: the correct spelling of "tyranny". You can't expect the acorn-sized brain of a right-wingnut to absorb anything further than that in a single day.

And the correct spelling of "Halliburton", which Canadians particularly tend to fuck up all the time. Confusing it with fishing camps methinks...

Man, it doesn’t get much dumber than that. Of course, tomorrow’s always a new day...

You tell 'em, Sheena.

Ok, ti-guy.. question for you.

When I read your handle I hear "Tee-guy" in my head, because I lived in Quebec for 9 years and that's how they'd say it. But other people in the blog world have said "no no... it's "Tie-guy".

Which is it?

Ti-Guy said...

"Tee-guy." Richard Evans calls me thai guy because he's obsessed with the idea of sex-tourism in Bangkok.

It's an old nickname.

"Tee-guy."

What a great question!

I've always heard "Tee guy" in my mind because I used to have a Ti plant when I was a child.

Everything is so fucked up. Evolution is a fact.
Religion is destructive.
How does one have free speech, when teaching ID would be a lie.
AHHHHHHH meltdown.

Wow facts killed wayne... Or was it holding more than one thought in his head?

Let's be clear on this - the evolution/creation debate is not about "free speech", it's about good science.

Creationism is no more science than science is theology.

Once the fundagelical crowd starts to get that concept straight, there's a chance that the howling will stop.

I would totally back the teaching of ID as an example of how science is attacked. But that's really subject matter more appropriate for post-secondary. Although, given how the fundagelicals have seized the children and are propagandising them, the need to introduce it earlier might be more dire.

"Tee-Guy"???

Just when you think you know someone... I thought you were actually made of titanium.

Bastard.

Red Tory said...

I always thought it was "Tie" myself. Shows you what I know.

Wow. Teh stupid is powerful over at the place. I can see why CC refers to them as "frat boys" now. What a bunch of puerile flyweights. Ironically, even the meaning of irony is lost on this hopelessly dim Matthew fellow.

Does that make you Magneto, Crabs?

Being honest to a fault, I am admitting that I had to poke around (Google) to learn of Magneto and Titanium Man. I'm probably stronger on Beatles allusions.

Damn! And here I was thinking that you were an old developer, such as myself, that had an affinity for Texas Instruments. One of the first home computers that I owned was a TI-99/4a.

My very favourite comment was from Bob:

"I hear that Expelled II is underway already with Ben Stein on board again. In it, he will expose the secular conspiracy to promulgate the *theory* of gravity as fact. It’s about time someone exposed Newton for what he was: a mewling didact responsible for the nihilist belief that “what goes up, must come down.” The resulting fatalism clearly seeded Neitzsche’s philosophy, which, of course, we all know fueled Hitler’s fascist rule and the Holocaust."

Snap!

Oh, and on top of everything else Matthew also managed to misspell 'Ferris Bueller'. Fucking cretin.
