Meeting? What meeting?

Christ. Could Angry Junior be more of a coward?

A Canadian youth delegation stormed out of a government-sponsored event at the UN climate talks in frustration Tuesday when Environment Minister John Baird cancelled his appearance.

The young environmentalists were already upset with the minister for including business groups in his delegation while refusing to sit down with them, and for his hardline negotiating tactics at the Bali climate conference.

Their annoyance became cold fury when they learned that the minister had suddenly skipped out on a public event where he was supposed to explain Canada's position.

They had spotted Baird milling about the conference hall before the event. He disappeared moments later and the moderator announced halfway through that the minister could not attend.

After all, there's nothing more frightening then a room full of informed teenagers.

We. Are. Doomed.

The BT-HiveReader® tells me that:

This was an “ambush” set up by radical moonbat environmental groups working in collusion with the liberal media. Baird is an absolute GENIUS for not falling into their nefarious trap.

Note: The innovative Predictameme™ algorithm that’s featured in BT-HiveReader® enables me to arrive at the foregoing summary without even having scanned a single blog or visited the BT aggregator at the time of writing.

The innovative Predictameme™ algorithm that’s featured in BT-HiveReader®

You are the funny.

Ah, if I had more time, I'd supply you with a picture and really run with the idea... also check it against the actual "reporting" of the BTs utilizing my patented BT-Veracifier® to demonstrate my contraption's superb predictive truthiness.

RT - You must have version 5.0. I'm still using the old DOS-based BT Predictameme, which is telling me that the BT's will simply ignore this story, and pretend it never happened. Sort of like their take on climate change itself.

A joke involving the BSOD might be apposite here.

In fact, that might a good new name for the BT aggregator: The Blue Screen of Death.

I kid, but what a dire place...

And if you wanted to build on that theme, the possibilities are endless.

Here you can riff off common MS error codes:

1) This device is not configured correctly.

2) The driver for this device might be corrupted, or your system may be running low on memory or other resources.

3) This device cannot start.

4) This device cannot find enough free resources that it can use. If you want to use this device, you will need to disable one of the other devices on this system.

Well, you get the idea... On and on we could go expanding on these error messages and relating them to the Conservatives.

Another fun idea would be to take Hansard and whenever a Conservative MP speaks, simply insert something like:

0x0000000A(0x00003AAF,0x00000002) 0x0000007f (0x00000008 0x80145000 0x00000000)

I'm impressed that Canada's clout on the world stage has apparently reached the point where we can single handedly determine the fate of the world.

Red...what you're saying is funny, but it's really a dead-on analysis of how the Conservatives work. Remember, they communicate the mechanics of governance the way Nike communicates the physics of running or Coca Cola communicates the essentials of proper hydration. It's not about anyone understanding how it works, it's about how it makes everyone feel.

So far, this government feels like one long corporate team-building seminar.

Shudder. Now there's an awful thought.

I see they're not achieving "buy in" with you. They really should work on "building capacity" in that respect.

For some reason I remain curiously unmoved by their leading-edge approach in the field of top-down, user-centred, interpersonal solutions.
