When bigotry meets totally contrived emotion. And marries it.

Oh, man. If you're not following the current Samuel "I am not a bigot, just incredibly, incredibly forgetful" Alito SCOTUS hearings, yesterday was a moment of high drama as Mrs. Alito, on cue from her right-wing, neo-con choreographers, burst into tears and fled the courtroom, thereby guaranteeing the storyline for the remainder of the hearings.

God, what obscene hackery. What next? Maybe, just as Alito is about to be exposed for the lying racist that he is, the little missus will suddenly develop a nasty case of the vapours or something.

Somehow, the word "pathetic" doesn't really do this justice.

UPDATE: Newer developments on the careful choreography that was Mrs. Alito up here.

More "compassion" from the "compassionate left," ladies and gentlemen. Yep. Reduce a wife to tears by smearing her husband and somehow she's the guilty party.

Oh, well. She'll get through it, Alito will be confirmed, and you liberals will continue to lose elections thanks to all this.

Um ... apparently you missed the part where Mrs. Alito had her dramatic little scene while Republican Lindsey Graham had the floor.

Yeah, you missed that part, didn't you?

And since when is asking someone about their past, a past to which they admit, a smear? You really are Sinclair living in a P4 world.

Anonymous (if that is his real name) gives other Anonymous posters a bad name. He's not a true Anonymous.

I concur, Anonymous.
We need to revoke this "anonymous" person his/her license to be Anonymous.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!

See, folks. This is what happens when morons get their information from places like DailyKos and "Balloon Juice" (what kind of stupid name is that?).

Sorry, CC, but Republican Lindsey Graham didn't make Mrs. Alito cry. Hours and hours of vicious leftist smear attacks did. You liberals are so pathetic and void of any true compassion that you can't even admit it.

Ah, I see how this works. It doesn't matter that it was actually Graham who was holding forth at the time of Mrs. Alito's (bogus) tears. No, apparently we have to go back in time to find someone else to blame.

I'm starting to understand how you folks find it so easy to keep blaming Clinton for everything.

You know, it really will be hilarious if a Democrat wins the White House in 2008 since it will be entertaining to watch how everything will suddenly be the sitting president's fault.

Unless, eight years after the facts, you folks will still be blaming Clinton. It wouldn't surprise me one bit.
