Some people take themselves WAY too seriously.
Remember the Golden Globes? Remember George Clooney going up to accept one? Remember him taking an off-hand swipe at hardcore con-man Jack Abramoff? Some folks should grow a thicker skin.

Golden Globes, dude. Equally irrelevant, I'll agree.
Oh, and the tool of the homosexualising agenda of Hollywood. Natch.
Clooney needs to grow a better sense of humor. His joke was lame and childish - like something you'd hear 5th grade boys say on a school playground.
"Oh, and the tool of the homosexualising agenda of Hollywood. Natch."
Do you think that Brokeback Mountain would have won awards and had its praises sung if it weren't about homosexuals? If you do, I've got a bridge in New York City to sell you. Seriously. With lame-ass dialogue like "I can't quit you," this movie shouldn't have even made it past the desk of head of the movie studio.
The comment on Brokeback Mountain is irrelevant and stupid.
As is Mr. Jack-off Sr.'s letter. I skimmed a bit of it, and that was all I could stand. These Repugs just can't tell how ridiculous they really are.
(I don't even find Clooney's joke all that funny. I just find the letter stooopid.
When they Swiftboat Clooney what are they going to do say his service in Iraq was all fake?
Oh.
Wait a second.
How can you possibly discredit real fiction
Ever think Brokeback Mountain could have won because it's a good movie?
Of course not. Because you haven't seen it. God (TM) forbid you actually see a movie you're busy protesting.
Because that would be thinking. And that's hard work.
