But don't you see? There's a difference between the two. You see, when the CPC members did it, they didn't invite her to Parliament Hill, so they have nothing to apologise for.

No seriously, I've seen conservative types actually say that. Sure, what they did was bad, but what about Trudeau? Also, they don't have to resign or apologise like Trudeau should because...reasons?

Look, I'm not expecting anything resembling principles from them. I mean a fair number of them, when it's mentioned that a Nazi flag or that Canadian flag with graffiti including swastikas on it were carried by people at the Convoy Fuckers' Hoedown Hootenanny, have either said it was Antifa members carrying them and they were "chased off" (very slowly apparently, given how long they hung around the area), or - a more recent excuse I've heard - they were people who through the flags were stating that Trudeau was the Nazi. Not sure how flying a literal Nazi flag (or possessing one in the first place) with nothing else on it does that, but hey, so long as you don't think about it, it makes sense.
