Peterson is an intellectual in the same way that Ezra is a journalist, or Sheila Gunn Reid is a human being.
P.S. If you really need to know what to think of Jordan Peterson as an "intellectual," it suffices to understand exactly who idolizes him.
I believe I've made my point.

The saddest thing is, he probably IS Canada's leading conservative "public intellectual".
It's been used countless times to describe countless people, but it still fits so perfectly I can't resist: Jordan Peterson is a dumb person's idea of a smart person.
