If Twatsy wasn't going to appeal the ruling, why doesn't he start cooperating with you now to pay off his debts? On Monday, you'll probably have to front $3,000 or so (of course, billed to Twatsy) to start the collection proceedings.
First, the forced collection proceedings will be harsh and humiliating for the entire Ross family.
Second, I know an extra $3,000 doesn't seem like much next to >$115,000 of total debt. However, three grand is still a *lot* of money, especially for an intermittently employed university dropout blue-collar stiff like Twatsy. $3K could buy a ton of Extra Value Meals at McDonald's!
Granted, Twatsy and his Dad clearly aren't very smart. And maybe they're still dumb enough to think they're going to somehow evade the inevitable consequences here.
I long ago gave up wondering just how fucking stupid that entire family is. As recently as December of 2016, I made a very generous settlement offer of less than $35,000 to make all this go away. For my trouble, Patrick filed a contempt charge against me, accusing me of "harassing" him by offering to settle.
Well, the days of cheap settlement are long gone, as Patrick is about to find out. I hope he had no plans for that Jordan Eberle jersey.
Hang on. Are you saying that Patrick could have settled all this for $35,000 back in 2016? And he REFUSED? That's unbelievably stupid. Did his father or family know about this offer? And if they find out about it, how pissed off are they going to be that this could have all been settled years ago for cheap?
I can assure you, Patrick's father knew about this offer since I made it in a registered letter addressed ***specifically to him*** (not to Patrick) in December of 2016. So he knew. I have no idea if Patrick's siblings were told about this offer, but if they weren't, I suspect they have a right to be pretty pissed.

Here's something that makes no sense:
