Having seen Jason Kenney kill their friends and neighbours, Albertans will have a brief moment of lucidity come federal election day when they realize voting for the CPC would be equally stupid, then they will all vote Peoples Party of Canada because, let's face it, they really are that goddamned fucking stupid.
Let's watch.

Alberta has been subjected to a decades-long version of what the GOP called "The Southern Strategy", and it started with the propaganda against the NEP.

The odds are very good that the province will vote overwhelmingly conservative on Monday, but that's not unlike the patterns one sees in domestic abuse situations where the abused partner is often unwilling to leave - it's not that they don't want to, it's a long difficult road to get to the place where they can exit.
A major loss for the conservatives here would be to fall below 50% of the total vote.
