The citizenry trembles.

P.S. Um ... Kate, honey? It occurs to me that, when you finally get to the point where you refer to your illiterate, drooling, slack-jawed, yokel readership as a "nation," maybe it's time to put down the spray can and step away from the paint fumes. I have only your best interests in mind.

SWEET JESUS ... If you have the stomach to read the comments there, you will quickly learn that there are a disturbing number of people who seriously believe that, if they can freep that survey hard enough, Sarah Palin will suddenly become qualified to be vice-president and the rest of us will therefore be forced to admit that.

This strikes me as having the same level of sanity as those folks who sit there, yelling at their radios, "You don't speak for me!", and thinking it somehow makes a difference.
