It's the Party of NEW fiscal prudence, I guess.
That debt gives neocons and neolibs an excuse not to improve social programs. That, in turn, makes them oh so happy.
Yeah, that would be one of the myriad of reasons why, on the way into work this morning, I gave Stockwell Day a rude gesture when I saw him and some of his cult lined up on the side of the road grinning like idiots while they waved conservative party signs.
Of course, I would have done the same thing had it been the Liberals, NDP or any OTHER political party rep, but because it was Smug Stockwell I took a little more enjoyment out of it. I can't believe I once voted for that jackass...
