Sites that really deserve more attention.


In the grand scheme of things, there are unspeakably bad web sites that are enormously popular (think PowerWankBlog). And, conversely, there are some pretty good sites that seem to fly under the radar that I think deserve more readership.

Here's my recommendation

Well, I don't know if you're looking for Canadians, but Peevish .. I'm just saying is one of my very favorite daily reads. The only reason I started reading Avedon Carol is that Anne Zook went on hiatus.

For history (and US politics, culture) roundups, Ralph Luker at Cliopatria is tireless, and he has some really smart co-bloggers, incluing Tim Burke, Manan Ahmed and KC Johnson.
