Poor Peter. This must be getting tedious.

OK, that's gotta hurt. Again.

The Liberal government organized an end run on the federal Tories last night in an effort to force a final vote on the budget, forestalling a confidence test next week that the Conservatives had threatened to do everything in their power to win.

Daylong machinations between the Bloc Québécois, the New Democrats and Liberals resulted in a move that a livid Tory deputy leader Peter MacKay called "diabolical, sneaky and treacherous."

Advice to Peter: Take it like a man. No, Dear God, not like that.

What is Steve Harper's problem? "So I guess what it should remind Canadians is that when push comes to shove, the Liberals will make a deal with anybody. It doesn't matter if it's with socialists, or the separatists or any bunch of crooks they can find."

Putting aside the fact that Chuckles himself was making a deal with the Bloc to bring down the government the last time, is he seriously objecting to a budget bill that provides for national childcare and more money to cities? I know it's just politics and he has to say something, but... come on.
