What's the story on canadianblogs.wanknet?
Apparently, I don't pay close enough attention since I only now ran across the curious aggregator canadianblogs.net, whose main purpose in life appears to be to further publicize the deranged brain spasms of folks like Dr. Roy and Twatrick Ross, whose contributions to anti-intellectuallism in Canadian culture is crammed in between the numerous posts advertising Canadian freebies, price choppers, coupon specials and promos for the Toronto Real Estate Board.
Wow -- how could I have missed that all this time?

What a pile of crap. You can tell Dr.Roy is there just because of the spellink...
Probably the same for Patrick "Ass Pizza" Ross.
Well the coupon place that links there is actually kind of useful, Cath and I have been the war path to cut our spending and save money.
From our monthly budget so far I have trimmed about $450 per month in spending that we really didn't need to be making. Cell phone plans, internet costs and other convinces.
The next area is groceries, and considering this is a major household cost, finding a way to trim even $25 a week adds up quickly.
So ignoring the Doctor Roy retard, the on line coupon place isn't that stupid
@Zorpheous - Costco is your friend. If you have kids, particularly, but even without, the sweetheart and I save $25/week easily by careful purchases at Costco, rather than buying at Safeway or IGA. Granted, however, that prices in grocery stores are higher in Vancouver than elsewhere, so YMMV.
(Also, there is the risk, upon entering Costco, that your brain will think, "Ohmigod, so much stuff!" and temporarily shut down. Try to avoid this happening. It's how I wound up with sidewalk chalk.)
one wonders if the various sponsors of that site have looked at what they are sponsoring. Do they really want to be seen endorsing the kind of drivel that drips onto the keyboards of Twatrick and Dr theHutt?
