That's right ... over $100,000, and that does not include several thousand more in cost awards levied against Patrick; I estimate the total amount owing at around $115,000 and, in eight days, I can begin collecting.
Well, OK, perhaps not, since Patrick has until September 18 to file an appeal against this recent ruling, but it's unlikely such an appeal would go anywhere since the judge in this case not only ruled against Patrick -- she delivered a crushing beatdown, as you can see below:
Quite simply, when the judge dismisses your entire argument as "without substantiation" and further kicks you to the curb by trashing your application as so "baseless and scandalous" that she awards enhanced costs against you, there's not a lot of basis left on which to appeal. But that's not why we're here.
In preparation for the upcoming collection proceedings (which will be carried out courtesy of Saskatchewan sheriffs and all at Patrick's expense), I am simply looking for the current employment meatspace co-ordinates of Patrick Ross; that is, where he is currently working. I am aware it is in the vicinity of Grande Prairie, AB and appears to involve some sort of forestry job, but knowing his actual employer would be useful for the garnishment order I will be filing at the earliest possible opportunity.
If you have this information, there is no need to leave it as a comment, you can just drop me a note at "canadiancynic@yahoo.ca" and I will take it from there. My SK lawyers are at the ready and, as soon as the flag drops, collection will begin.
I will keep you posted on any exciting new developments.
BONUS TRACK: Regarding the rumour that Patrick (along with his siblings) inherited some quite valuable farmland from their grandfather, an anonymous birdie just now dropped me a note via protonmail with the following (as-yet unconfirmed) data:
It is reported that the farmland in question is in the vicinity of Marshall, SK, consisting of two parcels of land and currently being worked by Patrick's brother, Chris. I will leave it at that, but if anyone is familiar with the area and wants to confirm one way or the other whether there is a Chris Ross managing a farm slightly to the south of Marshall, SK, that would be useful information.

I'm curious about something. From Twatsy's Facebook page and YouTube channel, it's clear he's staying in a hotel near GP in Clairmont. But who's paying for the hotel? If Patrick is paying for that hotel out of his salary, then as soon as you garnish his salary, how could he afford still staying there?
If his employer is paying for the hotel, is that something you would be able to seize through garnishment? Either way, it sounds like there is no way Patrick could keep that job if there are no available funds to pay the hotel bill. Having a job where you need to stay in a hotel seems like a bad situation for an undischarged bankrupt about to have all your assets seized.
Anyone know what the law says about this?
Anon: That is a question to which I do not know the answer. Personally, it would not seem to be in my best interests to cost Patrick his job since I plan on taking all of his salary. The ideal solution would be for him to continue to work for nothing, while his employer sends his paycheque to me, but I would need my lawyer to advise me on this.
What happens with all the money that Patrick earned over the years while he was bankrupt but without a trustee? Normally, you'd have to turn that over to your trustee, but since Patrick didn't have one, how does that work? Isn't Patrick going to be held accountable for the money he earned but never gave you?
Anon 2: There are lots of questions related to what will be happening shortly, and frankly, we're not sure what all the answers are for the simple reason that this particular case of personal bankruptcy is so unbelievably screwed up that even people fairly familiar with normal bankruptcy proceedings have looked at it and said, "What in the fuck ... I've never seen anything this messed up! How dumb *is* this guy?"
Quite simply, no one has ever seen someone bury themselves so deeply in bankruptcy and fuck up their life as badly as Patrick has done. In some ways, we are, literally, in uncharted territory with respect to the level of spectacular self-destruction here. And this doesn't even include the speculation that Patrick is trying to hide considerable inherited assets from the collection process.
It is truly something.
Would this website be helpful for locating Twatsy's brother near Marshall, SK?

It might come to that, we'll see.
