I have GOT to stop reading the blogs today.
You'd think that, with the ass-kicking the Republicans just got (in large part because of their appalling sleaze and overwhelming corruption), they might want to clean up their act just a wee bit. You'd think that.
You'd be wrong.
BY THE WAY, if the Dems had any sense (and, yes, we are speaking hypothetically here), given Steele's passing himself off as a Democrat during this last election, the Dems should keep their mouths shut about Steele, and even promote his appointment.
And after that appointment goes through, the Dems will have at least two glorious years of pointing out, every chance they get, that the head of the Republican National Committee is a self-described, unabashed Democrat and, by God, they've got the campaign literature to prove it.
Could life get any more entertaining than that?

Hey, if the Dems are popular (who knew 'eh?) who better to lie to the voters?
Fox "News" seemed to have no problem making Foley a Democrat...
CC,
I don't imagine you read the shotgun blog often, but apparently, one group of people who were happy the Democrats won is the "the Communist-backed mullahcracy of Iran and its Syrian allies". It's kinda like satire (eg. if you love freedom, vote Republican), except I think he's serious.
Yes, Olaf, and I'm betting that the GOP getting routed came as a crushing disappointment to the folks at NAMBLA.
I guess everyone has their constituency.
