Let's be careful with that analogy there, Mike.

The National Post's Michael Coren wants us to know that our relentless criticism serves only to strengthen him:

Their Disbelief Is My Strength

I suppose it's the greatest joke of all. Deliciously ironic as well. My Christian faith has been profoundly encouraged by those most eager to smother it.

Dear Mike: A lot of us are also firmly opposed to Catholic priests buttfucking altar boys. I'm hoping you don't draw the similarly logical conclusion from that.

What a profoundly immature man. As if anyone with real faith cares what others think of it.

He's just a religious hypocrite, wearing his faith like a badge to call attention to himself and to distract from the fact that he, being quite often spiteful, angry, judgmental, and prone to thoughts of violence, really isn't a very good Christian at all.

CC, you're insults only give him strength. Soon he'll be able to leap tall buildings in a single bound ... Praise the Lord and pass the kryptonite!

Coren is some kind of Obi-Wan Kenobi like Christian...why if we strike him down he will only be come more powerful than we can imagine...

Shorter CC: " In my mind, there is no difference between 'relentless criticism' and 'buttfucking altar boys' ".

And, oddly enough, this comes as no surprise to anyone.

Part of Lewis's gift is that he strokes rather than grabs.

Sorry, what were we talking about, again?

I'm curious. How many devils has he cast out? What new tongues does he speak in? How many serpents does he handle and how many scorpions has he stepped on? If he goes to Iraq and an IED blows up next to him, how many pieces will he be in? Has he swigged any sodium cyanide lately? Can he lay hands on my recurrent sinusitis and cure it?

Mark 16:17-18 and Luke 10:19 tell readers how to recognize true followers of the Christ. Funny I don't see anything about martyr complexed holier than thou blogging in there.
